Recipe: Sriracha Hummus
15 oz garbanzo beans peeled
1 tbsp sriracha sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice about a half of a lemon
1 tsp red wine vinegar
1 small garlic clove
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
- Drain and peel the skin off your garbanzo beans
place in a blender with sriracha sauce, oil, lemon juice, vinegar, water, garlic, cumin and salt. Blend for about 1 minute.
- Taste at this point, it may need to be blended longer to get the creaminess that you like, or it may need more sriracha depending on how much spice you like!
- Serve up with some pita chips or anything else you care to dip with and enjoy!
