Soup VS Chowder VS Bisque
Soup is a combination of vegetables, meat or fish cooked briefly in liquid, so the ingredients are cooked just enough to be palatable, but retain their texture.
Chowder is a soup thickened with cream and butter with whole ingredients.
Bisque is a similarly thickened soup that has been pureed.
